I'm a software engineer based in India, currently working as a Junior AI Developer at AILACDS. I build AI-powered applications around document intelligence, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow automation.

Most of my professional work has been in AI applications, but my interests go beyond that. My personal projects cover everything from TextStruct, a local-first document intelligence engine, to Tracium, a cross-platform network monitoring tool written in Rust.

I also spend a lot of my free time learning by building. The LLM Cookbook is where I organize what I'm learning about modern language models, while SLM From Scratch is where I put some of it into practice by training small language models on consumer hardware.

Experience#

1. AILACDS

   AI Intern → Junior AI Developer
   October 2025–Present

   I work on AIPathshala and SalesTaxGST. That includes document ingestion, hierarchical retrieval, lesson and document drafting, and moving client document infrastructure to AWS. The retrieval layer handles a ~90 GB legal/tax corpus alongside document-heavy education workflows.

2. MarketsandMarkets

   Technology Intern
   January–July 2025

   I built an end-to-end lead-classification system that reached approximately 89% accuracy on operational data, then shipped internal research tools including an FAQ assistant, GeoSearcher vendor discovery, and financial-data ingestion workflows.

3. Grant Thornton Bharat

   Cyber Intern
   October–December 2023

   I worked on enterprise audits by testing for vulnerabilities, analyzing security controls, collecting evidence, and documenting findings for risk reviews.

4. Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL)

   Summer Intern
   August–September 2023

   I built a visitor-management system with automated registration and supporting data workflows.

Outside work, I use my homelab to experiment with networking and optimize local LLMs for the limited VRAM on an RTX 5070 Ti.
